At PSI _OPAL_ is available as Pmodule.

== Load precompiled binary with Pmodules

The easiest way to load an _OPAL_ module is to use the "meta-modules" provided in `/afs/psi.ch/project/amas/modulefiles/OPAL`. Meta-modules are modules loading a couple of other modules. To make the _OPAL_ meta-modules available, run
----
module use /afs/psi.ch/project/amas/modulefiles/OPAL
----
> **NOTE:** For your convenience you can add this line to your shell profile (`.bashrc` for BASH).
To get a list of all available _OPAL_ module with major version to, you can use the command `module avail OPAL-2`:
----
------------------------- /afs/psi.ch/project/amas/modulefiles/OPAL -------------------------
OPAL-2/2.0.2 OPAL-2/2.2.1-1_slurm OPAL-2/2.2.1_slurm
OPAL-2/2.4.0 OPAL-2/2.4.0_slurm OPAL-2/2021.1
----
> **NOTE:** Modules tagged with `_slurm` can be used on Merlin6 only! |
